Southern Towers

We loaded the livewells with croakers and ran to the South Tower yesterday. We caught bluefish. We did not stay long, heading on to the B Tower. There we found decent numbers of amberjack. It was not great. Wes Blow and Steve Martin each caught fish over 50 inches and we had a few others close to 50 inches. Most of the jacks were much smaller. There were nice spadefish there but smaller jacks were much more aggressive in biting our clam baits. Over the radio, we could hear good action on yellowfin tuna, dolphin, a few bigeyes, and a good number of marlin encounters a bit to the east of us.
