Did the eel thing this morning. Caught a big girl. Let her go. Went home. Pretty morning on the bay.

Back to trout
Went trout fishing with Stan Simmerman yesterday morning. We tagged and released 19 specks. 7 were over 20 inches long. Stan got the 2 largest at a bit over 25 inches long. Heading out to the ocean this morning. Waiting … Continue reading

More specks
Fished for speckled trout with Stan Simmerman today. We caught 20 trout to 22.5 inches long. Most of the fish were about19 inches long.

Big one got away, again

It Was Cold
I did some speckled trout fishing dark and early this morning. It was cold but the trout bit so all is good. Caught at few over 20 inches up to 26 inches. All were released.
