It is cold and windy. I just caught a 21-inch rockfish off of my dock. Pulled off 2 others. I ran the fish up to the house, up the stairs, into my bedroom, and woke Tricia up with it. She did not seem nearly as impressed as I expected. Something about me being insane and for me to go the bleep away. Maybe if I go wake up the gaggle of 12-year-old girls sleeping over in my daughter’s room, I’ll get a better response to the fish.
Wes fished the Elizabeth River Wednesday while the rest of us were slaving at work. He caught 7 speckled trout. No monsters yet (nice keepers). He is also catching a couple of catfish each trip.
