Specks

Yesterday afternoon I tried for speckled trout. I did not catch any. Stan Simmerman also fished for speckled trout. He caught fish. This morning, I fished with Stan. We tagged and released a number of fish in the 17-to-19-inch range. I pulled the hook on two larger fish right before Stan could net them. Stan caught our one puppy drum that was also tagged and released. We caught some smaller trout that were just released without tags.
