I went drum fishing with Charles and Hunter Southall. We caught a few sharks, missed some bites and Hunter caught a full-grown red drum. We tagged and released it.
Wes Blow hit an inshore wreck for cod. He and Keith Blackburn caught some cod and 11 tautog. The tog were tagged and released now that season is closed. They then came in to the beach where Wes caught, tagged, and released a red drum. We are the boat in the background of the photo of Wes’ drum.
A bit south of us down the beach of Fisherman’s Island were Richie and Dylan Moore. The caught and released a big red drum. I don’t have a photo of that fish.
