Water temps are about 70 degrees in the rivers and creeks and are near that in the Bay.
The spot bite has been good at the Spike, the Mudhole and off Gwynn Island in 25-30 feet of water. There are mullet and gray trout mixed in.
Speckled trout have shown up in the Piankatank this week and have continued to bite in the Ware Neck area.
Live spot are working for stripers on structure as are jigs with gulp tails.
