Each year, the Peninsula Salt Water Sport Fisherman’s Association hosts a Youth and Ladies Tournament. The tournament is free to participants and is followed by a picnic and awards presentation. The targeted species are croaker and flounder. This picnic is held at Dare Marina and Yacht Sales. Yesterday’s (Oct. 3) rain drove the picnic inside but, as always, Dare Marina took care of us and made room for us in their dry storage facility.
