I spent the past two days, with Dr. Hamish Small, deploying tags in red drum. We were joined by anglers Charles Southall, Wes Blow, David Brabrand, and Stan Simmerman. The largest drum were fitted with satellite tags. Others got Virginia Game Fish Tagging Program tags. Seven satellite tags were deployed. They are scheduled to release from the fish in 45 days.
A big shoutout to Foolproof Fishing. They were putting on an absolute clinic this afternoon. They called us over to fish next to them. They get credit for three of the satellite tags we got out today.
