A live ocean

I was fortunate enough to fish on the Special Kate, out of Wanchese, today with Charles Southall, Hunter Southall, Wes Blow, and Steve Martin. It was National Geographic out there. I think we were in the vicinity of the Point. Birds working, fish busting, squid balled up on the surface. The fish we caught were spitting up squid all over the boat. We saw a marlin free jumping, and I think we missed a couple of billfish bites. We had a tuna spread out. We caught a couple skipjack and a couple small bluefin. We caught an unknown number of false albacore and small blackfin tuna. We caught 10 really nice blackfin and a handful of dolphin. We had a number of wahoo bites and held onto two, one small and a nice one. Constant action all day. Beautiful day on the ocean.
