Net Man

Stan Simmerman said that he needed a net man this morning. I thought that was a joke. It was still too dark to see what I was netting with his first trout. I netted 8 nice trout for Stan before I managed to catch my first fish. It was a nice one, the largest of the morning so I had that…until he caught a bigger one. Not counting the dink trout, the gray trout, the puffer fish, and the nice trout I lost at the boat…that Stan won’t let me count…we ended up catching 13 nice speckled trout. I caught two of those. It was embarrassing. We didn’t keep count of the small trout. There were maybe 10 of those. We had three trout over 20 inches with a number 18-19 inches.
