Big Red

We ran over to Fisherman’s Island to try for big red drum today. It was too cold. The water was too cold. It was too windy. But, the drum are here. I had Stan Simmerman and David Brabrand with me. We had a handful of bites. We caught a shark, had a few crabs taken and had two drag screamers. One hook pulled and one didn’t. David tagged and released our first bull red of the season. Meanwhile, my wife, Tricia, was back at home photographing some of the visiting waterfowl.
