Wrecking Today

I ran out after tautog this morning. The first wreck I tried was sea bass ridiculous. Big sea bass immediately on each drop. I never could feel/explore the wreck with my sinker so I decided to drop with no bait on the hook. It did not matter. Big sea bass hooked up immediately. Twelve more big sea bass on a bare hook got me wondering if we overthink this fishing thing too much. I was not going to catch a tog there so onto other wrecks where I still caught sea bass but they were fishable. Tagged some, kept some.
