Big Cobia

I was called to Wallace’s yesterday for a possible state-record cobia coming in. Actually, I was called a number of times during the 4.5 hour fight. The fish was not as big as thought but was still an impressive, 95 pounds. The day before, Wes Blow caught 6 cobia by chumming. He weighed in a 75-pound fish and released the rest including a 57-incher.
