I fished for specks again this morning. I only had one over 20 inches today compared to three yesterday and all of those were larger than today’s 20.25-inch fish. But, by 9 am, I had caught and released 18 speckled trout. I have no idea how many bites there were. Fun morning. I even saw a cobia cruising along the edge of the shallows. I elected not to cast to it with my speck rod.
