The Flounder Bowl will be held on June 27 this year. The best flounder fishing teams in the state will gather to eat, drink and to determine who gets to be called the champion for the year.<\/p>\n

The 2014 Flounder Bowl was won by the Look-N-Hook, captained by Aubrey Williams, III. They weighed in a 3-fish stringer of 17.68 pounds winning a Flounder Bowl record payout of $13,400!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The heaviest 3-fish Flounder Bowl stringer record belongs to Brian Hogge and the Hogchoker team. They won the 2010 Flounder Bowl with a weight of 26.03 pounds. Brian also won the 2013 Flounder Bowl making him the only captain to repeat as champion.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The heaviest single flounder that has been weighed in the Flounder Bowl was a 12.24 pound flounder, caught by Hunter Gray while fishing on the Paige II with Capt. Craig Paige, during the 2011 Flounder Bowl. The second largest flounder was also caught during the 2011 Flounder Bowl. The 11.59 pound flounder was caught on the Healthy Grin by Ken Neill. The third largest flounder ever weighed in was 10.84 pounds, caught on the Hell Bent captained by Rudy Levasseur, during the 2010 Flounder Bowl.<\/p>\n
