\nI fished off of Back River this morning for Flounder Bowl bait. I fishing a Sabiki with Fish Bites behind a chum pot. I put out a couple of eels to soak while catching bait. I had a good baby spot bite going until the sharks found me. They really like eels. The things would not let go until I would pull them out of the water and the eel would cut through. Not really cobia fishing, I just kept casting what was left of the eel back out there and went back to spot fishing. I had just caught two sharks on this eel and what was left had another one on. It turned out to be a nice cobia. It weighed in at 58 pounds 3 ounces. While cleaning the cobia, our two labs thought playing chase and tackle in the creek was great fun. Now they want in the house.
